Yahya Lambertz
Yahya started in Photography in 1998 in Jakarta, Indonesia, at SKALA weekly magazine and continued his work in Timor-Leste in 2002 at TALITAKUM magazine. He specializes in photos of nature, social culture and especially children. Some of his photos have been published internationally such as KUMPANI magazine in Finland.
His photo of a child with the title “Ancestor with Grandchild” was awarded 1st Prize at KONEKSI exhibition, at Uma Fukun, Timor-Leste 2004. As well as being a painter, Yahya established Sanggar Masin (Art School) and teaches painting and Batik to young people in Timor-Leste.
